「応援したいって気持ち…どこから湧いてくるんだろう？」 チアリーディング全国大会連覇を目指す名門、鷹ノ咲高校。1年生ながらにAチームを勝ちとった全中大会優勝経験者、美空かなたは大会中のミスがきっかけで飛べなくなってしまう。 そんなある日、かなたの目に飛び込んできたのは、電車と並んでビルからビルへと飛び移るパルクール女子高生、小父内涼葉だった。 かなたと涼葉に新体操お嬢様・詩音。ブラジルからの帰国子女・杏那。杏那のクラスメイト、ヨガ哲学女子・穏花。そしてかなたの元チームメイト、車いす女子の恵深。 趣味も特技も性格もバラバラなメンバーが歌ったり、ぶつかったり、スタンツしたり、妄想したり…。 応援したいって純粋な気持ちが揃う時、PoMPoMs（ポンポンズ）の応援はチアリーディングの枠を超えて人の心に伝わっていく。群馬の女子高生6人の応援が、世界をちょっとだけ変える…のかも？
Where does the desire to cheer come from? Kanata Misora, a first-year student at Takanosaki High School, a prestigious school that aims to win consecutive national cheerleading championships, wins the A team, but a mistake during the competition causes her to lose her ability to fly. One day, Kanata sees Ryoha Kobunouchi, a high school parkour girl who jumps from building to building alongside a train. Kanata, Ryoha, and Shion, a rhythmic gymnastic young lady. Anna is a returnee from Brazil. Anna’s classmate, Shizuka, a yoga philosophy girl. And Kanata’s former teammate, Keika, a girl in a wheelchair. The members, who have different hobbies, skills, and personalities, sing, bump into each other, do stunts, and fantasize…. When the pure desire to cheer comes together, the PoMPoMs’ cheering goes beyond the boundaries of cheerleading and is transmitted to the hearts of others. The cheering of six high school girls from Gunma may change the world just a little bit…?
