ストーリー
「魔法少女――それは強くて、格好良くて、しなやかで。誰もが憧れて、高給取りで、人気が高い、立派なひとつの職業だ」 内定がもらえず就職活動に苦戦中の女子大生・桜木カナ。 「自分は社会に必要とされていない」と自信を喪失していた彼女は、ある日、面接先で“怪異”と呼ばれる自然災害に巻き込まれてしまう。 その窮地を救ってくれたのは、ヤンキー気質の魔法少女・越谷仁美――。 持ち前の記憶力で、“怪異”と戦う越谷を手助けしたカナは、魔法少女としての才能を見出され、ベンチャー企業・株式会社マジルミエに新卒入社することに。 しかし、マジルミエで彼女を待ち受けていたのは、越谷をはじめ、ひと癖もふた癖もある変わり者ばかり……。 魔法少女絶対主義者のコスプレ社長・重本。 不気味なほどに気が利きすぎる営業マン・翠川。 根暗でコミュ障で魔法少女マニアのエンジニア・二子山。 さらに、憧れていた魔法少女は、華やかさの裏で、時に命をも落としかねない危険な仕事でもあった……。 人の命と仕事への責任を胸に秘め、今、社会人として一歩を踏み出した魔法少女の戦いが始まる――
Magical girls – they are strong, good-looking, and supple. Kana Sakuragi is a university student who is struggling to find a job because she has not received any job offers. One day, she is caught up in a natural disaster called “Kaiyo” at a job interview. She is saved from her predicament by Hitomi Koshigaya, a magical girl with a Yankee temperament. Using her memory to help Koshitani fight the “monster,” Kana’s talent as a magical girl is recognized, and she is accepted as a new graduate at a venture company, Magilumie Inc. However, what awaits her at Magilumie are Koshigaya and other eccentric people with one or two quirks. …… Shigemoto, the cosplay president, is a magical girl absolutist. Midorikawa, a salesman who is eerily too witty. Futagoyama, a dark-rooted, communicative engineer who is a Puella Magi fanatic. Furthermore, the magical girls they admire so much are, behind the glamour, a dangerous job that can sometimes cost lives. …… With the responsibility for human life and work in her heart, the magical girl who has now taken her first step as a member of society begins her battle–.
