魔法。それが現実の技術として確立されてから約一世紀が過ぎていた。 国立魔法大学附属第一高校、通称“第一高校”にとある兄妹が入学する。 魔法師として致命的な欠陥を抱える劣等生の兄・達也。 すべてが完全無欠な優等生の妹・深雪。 二人の学生生活は激動に次ぐ激動の日々だった。 政治結社《ブランシュ》の襲撃。 九校戦への香港系国際犯罪シンジケート《無頭( ノー・ヘッド・)竜(ドラゴン)》の介入。 大亜連合軍の横浜への侵攻。 人の精神に取り憑いて変質させる魔物パラサイトの出現。 そしてUSNA軍魔法師部隊スターズ総隊長アンジー・シリウスことアンジェリーナ＝クドウ＝シールズの来訪。 波乱に満ちた一年が終わり、二年生になった二人の生活も少しずつ変化する。 四葉家から使わされた桜井水波が達也たちと同居することになり、 達也は新設された魔法工学科、通称《魔工科》に転科する。 深雪と共に平穏な学園生活を送るはずだったが それを世界が許すはずもなく…。 そして、──波乱の日々が、再び幕開く。

After a year filled with upheavals, the lives of the two students in their second year change little by little. Mizunami Sakurai, who was sent by the Yotsuba family, moves in with Tatsuya and his friends, and Tatsuya transfers to the newly established Department of Magical Engineering, commonly known as “Magic Engineering”. He was supposed to have a peaceful school life with Miyuki, but there was no way the world would allow that… And then……..the turbulent days begin again.
